"I came to open a checking account - I stood in line to find out that there were no employees available. They took my phone number and promised to call me back to set up an appointment (why not set it up right away?) I had two days off ahead, Tuesday and Wednesday, what could go wrong? Nobody called back, and when I came again two days later, I was told that the next appointment was in two weeks. And to find out, I had to stand in line again. If this is how they greet new clients, then it’s difficult to expect adequate service at all."

"Wells Fargo bank is a typical California bank, so not much to say there. However, this location in Monterey is truly unique. Made from a restored church, the exterior doesn't look like a bank at all, and when you enter, the tall ceiling and other fixtures they preserved are beautiful. Makes you want to have a reason to just go in and check on your account!"

"I don't usually write reviews but I just had to write one for this Wells Fargo Branch! Excellent service. Employees were accommodating and friendly. The personal banker I was assigned to, Leo, was especially helpful for a first time bank customer like me. She walked me through with everything I needed to know and provided me extra information for my personal banking needs. The manager, Rita, was welcoming as well and was eager to talk to me as soon as I stepped into the building. Kudos to them!"

"My account became overdrawn on 5/18 for $160.00 (o.k my mistake) I went to deposit money the very next morning and my ATM card did not work. So I went in the office only to find the revoked my card. The teller was quite surprised because I haven't been overdrawn in the past. She had to cut up my card and request a new one. I'm am heading out of town with no ATM check card because of this crazy policy. The teller informed my that there are so many people overdrawn because of the economy that they have started this new policy.Could they just have put a hold on the card. But to cut it up so I have to wait 7-10 days for anew one is just WRONG. Folks I would have to say the hand writing is on the WALL. Wells Fargo has got to be in Trouble like the others or why would they do this to good customers. Do not walk but run to withdraw your money. Ive been a customer since 1981 so sad to see a company that has been around for so long go under."
