To ensure a seamless collection process, please follow our guidelines for setting up your refuse and recycling carts on your designated collection day. Starting February 2024, all refuse collected is delivered daily to local transfer station facilities before being transported to landfills in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. This change follows the closure of the Southeast Resource Recovery Facility (SERRF) in February 2024. For more details on the SERRF closure, please visit our website.
Please note that refuse and recycling services are available on all holidays except Christmas (December 25) and New Year's Day (January 1). If these holidays fall on a weekday, collection for the holiday and the remainder of the week will shift by one day, concluding on Saturday.

"When I call, customer service has been great. I've called to have my lost trash carts replaced and the representative quickly placed the request and my new carts arrived on my next pickup/ service day. Phone center service = 5/5 The only issue I've had with refuse collection is how trash gets picked up sometimes. Sometimes it's a day or more late, and medium items (like box fans) to large items (mattresses) have to be scheduled for a special pickup. As a renter, I'm not able to schedule these pickups myself. It has to be done by the landlord. Pickup service = 3/5"
"They missed my trash can (not the first time) i have been calling for the missed pickup for 6days straight and they still haven't come even though im “on the schedule” and its “been escalated to the supervisor”. Now on a Tuesday at 12pm the phone lines are saying to call during business hours which are mon-fri 7:30-4:30pm. I don’t understand…now i have to deal with strangers on the street throwiing food (which causes maggots!) into my bin."
"For some reason all my neighbors trash were picked up as scheduled on Thursday morning 4/13/23 except ours. I called that same morning and was told it will be picked up before 6pm. Trash was nit picked up. Friday morning i called again and was told the same thing, Saturday came and went trash still there. All they do is tell lies."
