"New owners are horribly overpricing just about everything! To make matters worse, they sell expired food! I couldn't believe it, why even bother calling yourself a discount store? The ekono down long beach Blvd has way better prices and best of ALL EVERYTHING IS NOT EXPIRED! My uncle made the mistake of buying soda from them and it was expired since May, but still selling it for 2.99 plus tax as if it wasnt an expired product! MAKE SURE TO READ THE EXPIRATION DATE, unfortunate bc we aren't paying full price for EXPIRED BAD GOODS! SHAME ON THE OWNERS FOR KNOWINGLY LEAVING EXPIRED ITEMS ON THE SHELVES AND STOCK, WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM HERE."

"Have not been there in a while. I guess it has new owners. I had an item marked at 1.99 when I got to the reg. He said 11.99. I showed him the sticker price he took it out of my hand and tossed it on the floor behind the counter. Very rude will never go back all items are not cheap anymore... I tried to explain to him that in ca. You have to honor the price. He said h wee didnt care. And then told me bye... I told him he didnt have to be so rude he laughed. I told him that I was going to report him.. he said " I dont care!" Store is dirty and disorganized dont waste your time even the soda I bought was expired!"
