"I went to this store simply to return an item. I had the box and everything before hand. The only thing I needed was to tape the box close. This store tried to charge $4 for a piece of tape on a small box. Outrageous in my opinion! I ended up buying my own tape and taping the box. To try and “nickle and dime” your customers is a terrible practice that I will not support. I might have been willing to pay 50 cents or at most $1 but nothing beyond that…I will go to another location for all my future packages."

"This used to be my favorite and only UPS store I go to. It was even saved on my favorite places. Every time I went here it was the same lady, who has always been friendly. I just visited this UPS store and I must say, I'm very disappointed with their customer service. Today was a new lady, and I even said: you are new, I haven’t seen you yet. As a regular customer, I was shocked to encounter such a ridiculous store policy. Upon realizing I had forgotten to tape my package, I politely asked to borrow some tape. I was informed that there would be a $2 fee for borrowing tape. Fair enough, I had no problem with that and I agreed it. However, when I put my the label on top of the package, I was told there would be an additional $2 charge to tape the label. When I questioned this policy, pointing out that I was already paying for the tape usage, I was met with a rigid response citing company policy. This policy made me feel undervalued as a customer as I was already paying to use the tape. It's disappointing to see such a lack of common sense and customer-centric approach in an establishment that I once regarded highly and it was the only UPS store I use. Needless to say, I'll be exploring alternative shipping options in the future. Regarding the owner’s reply: Thank you for your reply. Let me clarify that I am not saying that regular loyal clientele should have different policy from first time clients. What I am saying is that this policy is absurd - this is an honest feedback. After I posted this review and read your other reviews, I noticed I am not the only unhappy client with the same policy because it is ridiculous regardless if you have had this policy for the past two years. This must be a sign that you are not doing customer service right, just to get a couple of dollars more from your clients. Some will choose to pay because they are already at the store but others like me, will choose to walk away and simply go to another store. Again, I didn’t mind paying $2 for a piece of tape (it was as a small plastic bag we are talking about here). However, I do mind charging me an additional $2 to tape my label when I am already paying for the tape. If you will be rob clients $4 for a few small pieces of tape, perhaps you can also offer the option of purchasing tape at your store. At least this way your clients will be able to take the rest of the tape home. Because of $2 you lost a client - and apparently I am not the only one. Thank you anyways!"
