About the Business

Welcome to the Manjushri Dharma Center, a serene place of worship nestled in the heart of Pacific Grove, California. Located at 724 Forest Avenue, our center is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and community through the teachings of Buddhism.

Join us for upcoming events that nurture the mind and soul. On Saturday, August 17th, and each subsequent Saturday during Rinpoche's absence, we invite you to participate in a student-led silent meditation from 10:00am to 11:00am Pacific Time. This in-person event is a wonderful opportunity to practice and generate positive energy collectively.

We are excited to welcome back our esteemed teacher, Khenpo Karten Rinpoche, on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024. The community is encouraged to gather at the center between 2:00pm and 3:00pm to greet Rinpoche as he returns from his travels.

Regular meditation sessions will resume with Rinpoche on Saturday, September 14th, from 10:00am to 11:00am. This session will be available both in-person and via Zoom for those unable to join us at the center.

While Rinpoche travels, we encourage you to continue your Dharma practice through meditation, contemplation, and reading. Rinpoche's insightful writings can be found in his book, "Precious Teachings," and on his blog, which includes the recent post, "The Importance of Contemplation and Mind Training in the Modern Age."
