Lovers Point Park

"This is the kind of place that you have to ask yourself if you want to post positively about. Not because it's not a fantastic place, but because you don't want it to get too crowded. This place has the look of an Italian or Greek Oceanside spot. It's the first time we went there, but we will absolutely be back. From jumping into the water, to looking for sea glass on the beach, on to just hanging out on the grass or having a picnic on one of the picnic tables. It's a fantastic spot that anyone would want to visit. There is free parking for 2 hours, and all of the people were respectful and quiet. I'm sure in the summer it gets quite active, but we were there end of January and while the water was cold it was still fine for just for shorts."

"This is a wonderful area to watch the waves break on the rocks, play in the sand when it's not high tide, and walk/jog on the trail with an incredible view. We had our kids who wanted to chase and run from the waves during a lower tide. They loved the beach area! We also walked near the rock cliff to catch some views and dodge the sea gulls. Also, the ground squirrels were way too tame! Fun to watch though."
