"Unforgettable experience! We were looking for something to fill out our final afternoon in California, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect end to our trip! The California redwoods are something on everyone's travel bucket list and the Redwood Grove Loop Trail is a great way for everyone of all ages to be able to experience. The trail is less than a mile long with lots of benches and places to stop, almost inviting you to take a leisurely slow walk to soak it all in. There are free guide trails (donations encouraged) that give explanations for marked points of interest on the trail. Make sure you take your time and take lots of great pictures if you're out-of-towners like us; the memories from the sights you see will stay with you for a lifetime!"

"We went super early in the morning. I think we got there at like 5:30 am. We are from the Midwest so the time difference was in our favor. The mist in the trees early in the morning was amazing. It gave life to the walk that was definitely not there once the sun burned it all off. Super easy walk, bring hiking boots as it is pretty wet. It's not mud, it is messy though since it's basically redwood needles mushed into pulp. Definitely come here and check this place out if you are in the area!!"

"Perfect hike for families. Start off at the educational nature center. Touch the fur of a skunk, coyote, bobcat, racoon. Check out different types of pine cones,etc. Lots of beautiful redwoods. We enjoyed walking into the honeymoon redwood."

"I have come to this little loop many times and it's one of the best gems of the bay area. So close to the city life yet so far away. Serenity and beauty all around among old growth redwoods. While on this loop you'll see a sign for the river trail. Take that to the river, it will be only a couple of minutes of walking to reach the river"

"This park is beautiful! Less crowded than Muir woods and for us easier to get to. Very informative, everyone offered tips or were there with information just when questions popped into your head. The visitor center has a lot of information also! And then there's the trees! During our walk I heard several times from our group "That's my favorite tree" "Oh now that's my favorite!" Highly recommend!"
