"Beautiful view of the Redwood forest below. Down about 700ft and then back, with stairs. The upper lot has 2 latrines but requires a short roadside walk to access the trail. Free parking."

"Nice 3.5 miles loop. 300 feet drop down to the fern creek. Lush redwoods with multiple creek crossings. On Nov 15 the weather was very nice - in the mid 60's."

"Take a hike up the trail from the main forest floor and get up to the panoramic trail and rise up over the forests tall Redwoods and spruce trees drop back down and walk along the stream and the ferns und the big Trees"
