"Super pretty! Not super accessible trailhead. Make sure you car can drive on a rough gravel road. The turnoff sign going up to the canyon is non-existent so make sure you have it plugged into gps"

"Beautiful little trail with wide paths and minor elevation change. There were no brochures left for the interactive trail when I arrived, but we decided to do the longer path and think it’s absolutely worth it. Trails are well marked and easy to follow. My only complaint is that I wish there was more miles to enjoy. The single lane, gravel road back to the area is long and winding. Google maps had a really hard time following the road, but there was really only one way to get there. We kept going despite being off the map, We only passed a few other trucks on the road, and everyone was very respectful of space. My friend had a pick up truck and we used the four-wheel-drive most of the way. The remote aspect of this area makes it feel even more magical - we were alone on the trail. There is plenty of parking and a pit toilet on site. The toilet itself was in good shape, but there were tons and tons of flies in the outhouse. One thing that surprised me about the area was how silent everything was. We came across a couple of birds, but for the most part, the only sounds were our footsteps on the trail. Redwoods are really amazing trees, and this is a great place to experience them!"

"Love the place. 2nd time been here and had all to ourselves. Brought my exchange student here to see the big trees and didn't disappoint. Road is a little ruff though."

"I didn't do the hike because we got there so late in the day. This is bear country, but I'd bet mountain kitties also come here. The road up here is single track to be careful. We felt a bit of slip so we engaged xmode but you may not need it. There are private residences along the single t track road. They want you to stick to the road. Do it. There is a vault toilet and a trail map that you can take a pic of at the top. There is no cell service so bring up your Hikerr or All Trails and download the maps before you leave civilization. The trail preview looks like you nay have some steep trail."

"This place is well worth the 4 mile drive through a one lane gravel road to the trail head. There was not much traffic going there when we visited, but it could become tricky if you have to cross other vehicles. High clearance vehicle is not required. There is a pit toilet at the trail head and spot for 15 vehicles. The hike itself is not strenuous, and joyous."
