Community Initiatives and Outreach

At Church of the Oaks, we are deeply committed to social justice and community support. One of our key initiatives is the monthly food drive. We encourage everyone to bring canned and dry goods to the Fellowship Hall, where they will be collected and distributed to those in need within our community.

Bell-Tolling Campaign Against Gun Violence

In collaboration with local churches from Petaluma, we have joined a poignant bell-tolling campaign to mourn and protest the epidemic of gun violence in the United States. On the first Friday of every month, we toll our church bells as a solemn reminder of the lives lost and a call to action for change. Initiated on National Gun Violence Awareness Day, this campaign unites churches across the county and beyond in a shared mission to "ring out danger" until effective governmental action is taken.

Fellowship and Community Engagement

After our Sunday service, we gather in the Fellowship Hall from 11 AM to Noon for coffee and snacks, fostering a warm and inclusive environment for community bonding and support.

"This was my church was younger I got married in 2019 at the church it's a small friendly everybody knows everybody church with green carpet an amazing friendly people. If you ever want to go and get spiritually fit and you don't wanna be around a bunch of people that are Judgmental or uncomfortable to be around this is the place to go. They do a lot of services like giving clothes to the homeless That are walking the streets. Or cook offs and feeding everyone that comes to the church that need a meal these folks don't forget where they came from an all memories I have are amazing. Just keep in mind the same green carpet from 30 years ago are there lol"
