"Either many people haven’t had a positive experience with a dry cleaner or if they have they won’t take the time to write a review about it. Coastal Cleaners is timely, their work is impeccable and fairly priced, and the people that work here are professional and honest. My husband wears dress shirts for work, and I’m terrible at ironing, so dry cleaning is a necessity for us. Every time we’ve brought clothing here, we’ve been happy with the experience and the results. Highly recommend!"

"I'm pretty sure I just paid $58 for the guy to wrap my clothes in plastic and hand them back to me. I have what looks like food stuck to my wool coat in a couple spots, and that's what I can see without fully removing it from the plastic. There is also lint all over both coats. Furthermore, my shirt now has a blue stain that he pointed out to me on the sleeve. I can't prove he did it, but I didn't see it before. My wife said it wasn't there before."

"Went there for several years due to being logistically close, but no more! Not only has the cleaning been marginal at best (unable to clean simple food spots, etc.) they have actually destroyed at least 2 of my silk Tommy Bahama shirts. This last one had a rip 24" long. No offer to replace it or any consideration at all. Sorry, but going to have to find a cleaners more reputable."

"Terrible business! I had the worst experience at this dry cleaners today. I normally am not one to write reviews but when I had this experience I figured I should warn everyone. I met the owner a couple of days ago when I stopped in and asked about their process of dry cleaning. I showed his each piece of clothing and he assured me he would take care of them as he's been in the business for 20+ years. I trusted him with our dress clothes. My husband and I went to pick up our items today and the owners wife brought over one of my dresses. The dress was completely destroyed. The leather is peeling off and the dress is unwearable. I was devastated because this dress cost $180 and was a gift from my mother. The owner wasn't there, only his wife. She told me that she would have to get her husband on the phone as she could not make any decisions without him. She called him and handed the phone to me. He told me there was nothing he could do and that I should just pay for my other dry-cleaning and leave. He also told me that the only thing "I" could do is call my lawyer (over a dress?!?). After trying to meet in the middle, he said he was going to meet me there and said the sheriffs were coming too. The sheriffs arrived and couldn't believe that they had to be there for something to petty. They tried to reason with the owner to negotiate and make us customers happy but the owner did not want to help us. The owner is arrogant, rude and a terrible business owner. After being there an hour, the owner knocked $58 off of our $130 total bill. The owner was very sour about helping us and $58 isn't going to pay for a new dress. The sheriffs wanted to stay there with us to make sure that we were taken care of. Very disappointed and will never return. Don't waste your money."

"Coastal Cleaners is different than others process and has a very convenient location on Main street. Garments are always very well pressed and not too stiff. Good pricing too."
