"I have been seeing Dr. Scott Gerson for over 30 years. I first sought him out when i was young and had become skeptical of western medicine. I was an avid yoga practitioner at the time, so an investigation of Ayurveda as an alternative seemed natural. From the outset it was clear to me that Ayurveda and Dr. Gerson’s approach was the alternative i would pursue. Never before had i encountered a doctor who treats your entire being (body, mind, and general well-being). There’s no rush in these consultations and no experience or symptom is too small to be of interest to Dr. Gerson’s approach to Ayurveda. I have undertaken a number of Panchakarma retreats with Dr. Gerson as tune-ups that i’ve found essential to my everyday health (everything from cold/flu avoidance to more serious malady prevention to just feeling healthy). He is absolutely unique in that he has studied western medicine, he is a trained MD (and a very knowledgeable one at that!) and the equivalent in Ayurveda.
