Welcome to LifeShare Blood Center, your dedicated community blood provider located at 5745 Essen Ln Suite 102, Baton Rouge, LA 70810. Established in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1942, LifeShare has been passionately serving the community by supplying essential blood components and related services to over 100 medical facilities and hospitals across Louisiana, East Texas, and South Arkansas.

As a proud member of America’s Blood Centers and the American Rare Donor Program, LifeShare is licensed by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration and accredited by AABB. Our Immunohematology Reference Lab offers advanced scientific services, supported by a team with extensive licenses and certifications. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community blood bank governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees, committed to serving the health needs of our region.
