"My son and I had to go to the emergency early on a Sunday. He fell into the pool, knows how to hold his breath but I wasn't sure how much water he took in. We were seen almost immediately, I was still filling out a form when the nurse came to get us. From the security at the front, each nurse, the x-ray tech, the doctor, we were met with genuine concern, each one was gentle and attentive to my 5-year old. The doc even let him see his x-rays so he is telling EVERYONE I saw my bones! I hope we never have a serious reason to return but I am grateful for the care and concern from the staff. THANK YOU!"

"So grateful that another amazing ER was around the corner. The front desk lady was so hostile that I’m surprised she still has a job there. My mom and I went in with a referral. Right off the bat I could tell she was annoyed. She refused to even acknowledge my existence, asking my mom everything even though I was right there and capable. She told her I had a referral for an ultrasound for possible DVT (very grateful that it wasn’t, who knows what could’ve happened to me if it was). She asked for the phone number and when my moms didn’t work I suggested we try mine. Without even looking at me she said it couldn’t be mine since I was a minor (my phone is paid by my parents therefore still making it their number even if I’m the one who uses it). She continuously refused to try mine. She very much had a “shut up kid, the adults are talking” mentality. We then called the office to see if the referral had been sent and they said it was. Once again with my moms phone number it didn’t work. My mom said to try mine and told her my phone number, surprise surprise there it was. Regardless of it was allowed to be used or not, I find it very unprofessional that she wasn’t even willing to try it just in case. She then tried to tell my mom that we couldn’t do a walk in and had to make an appointment. My mom explained we do not want to wait and are willing to just make an ER visit out of pocket if needed. She kept repeating we had to make an appointment. After my mom said numerous times we just want an ER visit she then told us they don’t even do ultrasounds there. Why wouldn’t she have said that in the first place? Oh, because it’s a lie. My own mother has gotten an ultrasound done there before. When we told a doctor from the other ER they were also confused because they know that they do ultrasounds there too. She kept making excuse after excuse on why they couldn’t take us. Not sure why she had some vendetta against us. She might as well have just told us off the bat she wanted us to leave. I would give this place a 0 star if I could and even that is generous. Save yourself the time and go to Memorial Herman where they actually care about their patients, I will be switching to that hospital"

"The nurses and the doctors are great! Unfortunately this is my second visit here but great-fully they all have been so kind. Yes, you do fill out paperwork first they need your info. Both times my wait time has been less than 20 minutes. They do all the testing necessary to make you feel at ease. I read another review about the patient leaving still unwell. This is normal. They are not going to leave you 100%. This is an emergency room meaning life or death situations. You also have to understand that your body has to do what it has to do to get better so give it time and if it doesn’t you need to see a specialist which the ER DR will recommend. People don’t understand this part."
