Southwell OB/GYN

"My mother uses this facility & OB here. She visited recently because she thought she still had uti. She was tested & did not, thankfully. She has not been feeling well & having pain at times in lower abdomen. Dr. Told her she could have covid or infection & she needed to see GP. She is going to do so. Why could he not do bloodwork? She asked him to listen to her chest & he told her he does not use anymore??? This is what is wrong with Healthcare system. She still gets mammo at 80 with this facility & it is like you are 80 & do not have a uterus anymore. & you are supposed to feel bad.. By the way, does not have covid. Shetested & knew she did not. Just did not feel well & felt off. You got your co pay & you can file on her insurance. My gyno does bloodwork, & basically complete physical. I am in my 60 s & trying to stay off the pharmaseutical train as long as I can. I do not need a gp yet because I do not have issues yet. I do know that I am heading that way being seen as old. This is sad in our Healthcare system. Our Healthcare is not about keeping you well but fixing it after you get sick.Stephanie Collins Parker"

"Today I visited Southwell for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The streamlined paperwork process, quick service (in and out in a little over an hour), and private attached restrooms in each patient room (hey, it’s the little things!) truly set it apart. The staff's friendliness made the experience even better. This is undoubtedly my forever OB/GYN office. Five stars to Dr. Clifton and his staff for the outstanding service!"

"Most of the staff here is lovely and kind. My biggest complaint is Hillary. When we went to her about a few of our concerns, she was really dismissive and acted like she didn't care. When we found out we miscarried, she never called me to discuss any lab results. The other staff is great!! I ĝet delivering bad news is hard, but my interactions with her were brief and she had a whole nonchalant and dismissive attitude."

"I am a current patient here at Southwell OBGYN. The staff here always treat me with kindness and respect and are always very friendly when I walk in the door. I am checked in immediately and usually pulled back to the back within 15 minutes of my arrival time, which is awesome! If I call the office, the front desk ladies make sure I get to the right person or I can leave a message and the appropriate staff member will call me back by the end of the business day, usually its sooner. Everyone from the office staff to the medical assistants to the doctors here really make this a pleasurable experience. I would recommend Southwell OBGYN to any woman in South Georgia."

"Dr. Clifton has been my gynecologist for over 15+ years! I started seeing him due to having multiple fibroids which was remedied through surgery with no further issues! Once I came home from the hospital, his office called me that following Monday morning to check on me and to see if I needed anything! He is very knowledgeable, caring and through with his patients! I would recommend Dr. Clifton and his staff for all of your OB-Gyn needs!"
