"If you have young kids and live in Santa rosa County; it is definitely worth the drive and membership fee to go to the Escambia County libraries. I did not see a kids section. There was no place to keep my kids entertained while I browsed books. And after finally deciding a few books and audio books I left to realize none of the 3 audio books I checked out work. I plan to call the library and ask them if there is some trick to getting them to work, but if they don't work because the librarian put them back on the shelf without checking to see if they work and are charged that's pretty lazy. I am right now giving my experience 2 stars because the library was clean, and in a safe part of town but those were the only pros. There was no kids area to keep my kids entertained while I checked out books, and the books I did get did not work. I hope that with the growth of pace the County decides to upgrade the library along with all the parks."

"Staff are helpful in assisting with ILL requests and at the drive-thru window to pickup holds. I also appreciate that the library has a subscription to Transparent Language; I have begun to learn Japanese at home with it. ありがとうございます!"

"I don't have kids in this school district since mine are grown, but have a niece that attends the high school there. I'm in college (new to this area) and have gone to this library many times to do homework within this last year of living here. The hours are limited, but understandable since it's a smaller library. The staff is always friendly. I love the study room, since there are times I need less distractions to prepare for tests. Outlets for laptop use in main computer area and study room. Free Wi-Fi & use of computers. I love the interactions between the staff with parents & small children who are eager to check out books. I remember that's how it was with my kids, too. Makes the library experience more enjoyable. I noticed they also have planned events for kids. Also, it's always very clean & kept up. Again, I was very pleased that they were welcoming to this older college student coming without kids. It's an awesome little community library."

"Friendly staff. Well stocked with both older and newer titles. Computers are on the premises. Easy to get along with the people. Easy to get in and out of the place, plenty of parking and an easy location to get to from a couple of different ways. Good hours and a drive thru drop off window for anytime access. When you need to get off the internet and enjoy a good book then this is the place to be."
