"Disappointing Experience with Uninformed Staff at Advance Auto Parts. I had an incredibly frustrating encounter at Advance Auto Parts recently, primarily due to the lack of knowledge and poor customer service exhibited by a new employee named Grace. Despite being a long-time customer, it seems the standards at this store have plummeted.This isn’t my first frustrating experience as of late with this store. My first issue today arose when Grace attempted to prevent me from browsing the belt wall on my own, a section that I've frequented long before she even knew about such products. Her lack of understanding between a v-belt and a serpentine belt was glaringly obvious, further highlighting her incompetence in an automotive environment.To add insult to injury, when the store manager, JT, intervened, it was not to rectify the situation but to reinforce Grace's misguided directives. This is unacceptable behavior from the managerial level, especially when customers like myself are simply trying to navigate the store for necessary parts.What's particularly baffling is that when I called the Killeen location, Alex confirmed that customers were indeed allowed to browse the belts without any issues. This begs the question: why are the employees at the Copperas Cove branch so misinformed and rigid in their approach? I will not be returning to Advance Auto Parts unless significant changes are made. It's imperative that they hire knowledgeable staff who understand basic automotive terminology and equip them with proper customer service training. Otherwise, they will continue losing customers to competitors like Napa Auto Parts, where customer appreciation and expertise are prioritized. I plan to discuss these issues with the area manager, Joe, tomorrow morning, and depending on the outcome, my future patronage of Advance Auto Parts remains uncertain."

"I’ve been coming to this store for 15 years. I have an acct with a military discount that was set up years ago. The guy checking me out would not give me my military discount because I didn’t have a military ID. Had my DL proving who I was which should have been good enough!! And still wouldn’t accept it. I’m done with this store and it’s new crew."
