"VISITORS BEWARE We are from out of town and decided to spend last weekend downtown Pensacola as it is one of our favorite towns. We’ve not been there in a long time so we were not aware the city is charging for parking on the street. With all of this said we found parking near the corner. I pulled in front of a parked car and backed up to the vehicle behind me making sure I was not blocking the fire hydrant on the corner. We got out of vehicle and walked to a restaurant. Unbeknown to us however, there was a parking sign posted that was located behind our vehicle that we did not see when I pulled in. It was located in front of the car behind me. CITY of PENSACOLA we are more than happy to pay for parking - just make this requirement highly VISIBLE for all parking locations. We received our ticket and paid it. However because of this experience and after reading other on-line reviews we will think twice about visiting again. Besides hotel, food and gas this trip cost me an additional $25.00 plus $3.50 for paying the ticket using a charge card. It’s not the $28.50 that irked me, it is the lack of communication and sign visibility that irritates me. CITY of PENSACOLA do you not want out of town visitors?"

"Horrible front desk security. All the restrictions on public properties. Learn the law servants. Youtube will expose the roaches."

"Received parking ticket downtown Pensacola. Appealed on basis of no visible signage. After 2hrs of hearing other cases and alot with apps or kiosk not working, my case was up and images shown and an eye squint to find a obstructed kiosk and a sign that were both a half block down the road .sign that was entrance to a lot. A verdict to uphold ticket was given. Court stated I "should have used the app to see if it was a paid parking spot or not". The app that does not work . Disappointed. Definitely will think twice of going downtown with this system in place."

"I’ve been unfairly given multiple parking tickets. Especially in the parking garage downtown. One time I was parked on the top floor and walked downstairs to pay for parking, but before i had the chance to (it took about 3 minutes) i was given a parking ticket before i was able to pay. The only way the ticket person would’ve been able to fine me that quickly is if they saw me get out of my car and waited for me to walk away. I always park in the free parking garage now."
