"Revised:Dr Hood is a bad medical doctor. Informed about bone spurs, and the surgeons office stated I don’t have it, and referred to see a neurologist. However, the office staff are not However, the office staff are not organized. And had the following issue. I cannot tolerate nerve blockage due issues with cortisol. I had requested an appointment with him twice to talk to him for referral to a neurosurgeon. The office staff switched my appointment twice to see the PA, and the last appointment after I arrived, the PA didn’t even know the reason for the appointment, and prescribed medication for pain when that was not the reason of the appointment. I was frustrated due the I spent money, gas and time for that. And after that, they sent me a certified letter to fire me as a patient. I know for fact is their business, not a medical office. And I really don’t mind about the letter, because I had requested a neurosurgeon, and maybe they didn’t liked my decision for it. There are some medical conditions that require surgery and not their office treatment. Be careful when you are looking for pain management physician. Those doctors are money hungry and do whatever to take it from you, when their treatment is not the solution. At least they should send the referral to the neurosurgeon for consultation and they don’t even have empathy and compassion to do it. I am still waiting for the neurosurgeon phone call for the appointment, but they just care about the money and not the customer. Beware of these pain management offices, the way they work looks like scamming patients."
