Dr. Mark Torke, MD, is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon with a distinguished career. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. Dr. Torke completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic residency at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where he gained invaluable experience working with intercollegiate and Olympic athletes. His education was further enriched by a pediatric orthopaedic rotation at the Alfred I. DuPont Institute.
With over 1,500 joint replacement surgeries performed, Dr. Torke brings unparalleled expertise to his practice. He specializes in a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, including arthroscopic surgery, cartilage transplants, minimally invasive total joint replacements, pediatric orthopaedics, shoulder surgery, carpal tunnel treatment, total hip replacement, and outpatient knee replacement surgery. His commitment to excellence is recognized by his roles as a consulting physician for the Toronto Blue Jays and a former Chief of Orthopaedics at Morton Plant Mease Hospitals.
Dr. Torke is a proud member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He also holds teaching appointments with the USF/MPM Family Residency Program and Barry University Physician Assistant Health Science program.

Thomas Haines is probably the best P.A. you can ask for as you can talk to him more than medical talk but life talk.
