Welcome to Palms Medical Group, where quality and affordable healthcare is our commitment. Located at 1830 North Main Street, Bell, Florida, we are a not-for-profit health care provider dedicated to offering primary care and preventative services to our community. Under the leadership of Dr. Bruce Thomas, MD, our Chief Medical Officer and a lifelong resident of Gilchrist County, we strive to deliver top-notch medical care.
Dr. Thomas, a Bell High School alumnus, graduated from the University of Florida, College of Medicine in 1995. With extensive experience, including a Family Practice residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and leadership roles at Reynolds Army Community Hospital, Dr. Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his role. Since 2002, he has served as the Chief Medical Officer at Trenton Medical Center, Inc., ensuring the highest standard of care for our rural area and surrounding communities.

"Do not make the mistake of thinking you will be anything more than an insurance billable, name and date of birth... The "dr." Bruce Thomas Cares far more about how he looks to the FDA than fulfilling the needs of the patients. THIS IS NOT ABOUT A PAIN MED. I do not need nor take pain meds. My Dr of 12 years suddenly had to retire for urgent medical reasons. The hoops and excuses that he gave continuously about picking up where my dr and I had gotten to where constant and my please ignored and LESS THAN A PRIORITY ... I made it CLEARLY known the the effects of being off my meds for the months that they strung me along where costing me tremendously at work in my performance and ability to be thorough and complete tasks in timely accurate manner . ALL FELL ON DEF EARS with him. His PA urged him to reconsider and help me and she was shut down at all turns . She will one day soon be a far better dr. Than he will ever be. my complaints will not stop at a mere You took an oath to take care of your patients that oath was NOT contingent on how a regulatory entity that I DID NOT trustworthy my health ... I TRUSTED YOU ..."
