As a family-owned and operated quail plantation, we specialize in fully guided, old-fashioned foot hunts for Bobwhite Quail, using our expertly trained German Shorthaired Pointers. For those looking to diversify their hunting experience, we can also add Chukar Partridge and Pheasant to your hunt upon request. Our birds are nurtured to reach their full potential in beauty and agility, ensuring an exhilarating and authentic hunting adventure.
Hardscrabble Plantation is not just about hunting; it's about a lifestyle steeped in the tradition and love of upland hunting. We offer training for Pointing, Flushing, Blood trailing, and Shed Antler Retrieving dogs, sharing our passion and expertise with fellow hunting enthusiasts.
Whether you're an experienced hunter with your own bird dog or seeking a guided adventure, Hardscrabble caters to your needs. Choose from half or full-day hunts, with a guide and dogs included, or opt for a self-guided experience with birds released to your specifications. Membership options provide exclusive hunting opportunities, year-round fishing, and preference in booking training fields and hunting sections.
No hunting license is required for quail, pheasant, or chukar hunts at Hardscrabble, but please adhere to Florida's regulations for other game. Underage hunters must comply with Florida's guidelines concerning hunter safety.
