HCA Florida Pea Ridge Emergency

"This place is a complete rip off!!! Went there with shoulder pain and got two X-rays told me it was arthritis gave me a steroid shot and sent me on my way. Got the bill for $8700.00 $4700.00 for two X-rays I have health insurance and they paid $50 for the X-rays and told me to challenge the pricing that it was way out of line! Called and they wouldn’t discount the bill a penny!! They put up emergency signs on a place that is just a walk in clinic so they can charge emergency room fees and rip off unsuspecting patients!! Stay away this place is a scam and should be reported to the insurance commissioner and regulated on prices they can charge!!"

"First off, do NOT reply with 'we're sorry we didn't meet your expectations'. I was here just to see what everyone else had to say. I won't go back there anymore. I purposely drove to the main hospital ER twice after the last 3 at this ER and the care is 20 stars at main ER. I came in December and Dr. G was awesome.. said to immediately go see an ENT. Made jokes and I have a great memory to keep. Then it was taking 3 months to be seen by the ENT and the appt was made. I went twice to your ER because my left ear and NOW left eye was the worst anyone's ever seen. Long story short, your goofy 'you know nothing' attitude doctor was saying pink eye and blepharitis. I told him that it wasn't and he says I'm the physician and you should follow up with someone... I took he is two antibiotics and now, it got worse. I had MRSA and pseudomonas in both the ear and eye. 100 days of infusion iv antibiotics later, it was ready to come out. But the day before, I went back to your ER with a high fever. 102.. I was told strep throat and prescribed Augmentin... 3 days later.. I was having Toxic Shock Syndrome.. I stopped the augmentin because it was the only new thing I was taking. Next day, went to main hospital ER, given huge bag of iv fluids... next day i was better. Two days later, saw my Infectious Disease doctor sharing what happened. She said being given Augmentin was too severe for strep throat. 'If had continued that medication, you would have died in 2 days' Doctors words. I will never return there. I truly hope no one responds from HCA.. I don't wanna hear your template response. Every where you have responded, it is insulting that "we didn't meet your expectations". Your darn right West Florida fast track didn't. The hospital is TOP notch but not this Pace ER. Oh and my other friend, had a tick in her ear after an ER trip elsewhere.. this ER just said an ear infection. As I've shared to many about my bad experience.. they have had them too. You've been open 8 months? Someone needs to interview Doctors better."

"I took my daughter in today with severe back muscle spasms. Michelle was her nurse .. she took a great history and was very compassionate in her care toward my daughter. Incredible nurse, Dr. Sumrall Was theER Physician Who took care of her . We never felt rushed ….he listened to everything she had to say.. After the examination, he told us what the plan was going to be. Gave medicine to make her comfortable And called in a couple of prescriptions to help her Deal with the pain. I have been a Sacred Heart employee and a Sacred Heart patient for many many years. I would have no problem going to this HCA emergency room. I would give them 10 stars if I could."

"Hands down best er experience I've ever had. Was taken to a room the moment I walked through the door had my vitals taken. The nurses and Dr listened to me and took what I said into consideration and all were pleasant and truly seem to enjoy their work. They took my concerns seriously and got me treated and on my way with prescriptions not just for the present issue but also a new script for an inhaler after learning that I hadn't had one for my asthma in years. I will only be going to this ER for any future emergency room needs"
