"It's actually a complete miracle that the original construction company that created Cape Coral in the 60s actually decided to throw nature lovers a bone and didn't develop this whole entire square parcel of forestry! I'm surprised the city hasn't leveled it already."

"Great for a morning jog. Workers were maintaining it, watering newly planted trees. It's still new and seems like a bit of a work in progress. There aren't too many places like this nearby. So, I appreciated it and will be back sometime!"

"Nice little walking trail made of seashells. On a morning walk saw an eagle, egret, red winged blackbirds. Trail map not well defined and dog poop left by lazy walkers."

"Not sure who the city used for engineering/hydrologist, but this parks trails flood with an inch of rain. It's obvious that the trail itself needs to be raised in several spots, proper drainage swales/ditches created, but less obvious and much needed are more access points to this park. The main parking is on the east side off Agualinda and the only other access is by foot only (no vehicle parking) on the NW corner of the park off Oasis. Other issues that need addressing include: drinking fountains at restrooms that don't work, limited park benches scattered randomly around the walking path (more needed), a bandshell that probably doesn't get much use but looks nice near the main parking area. There are two covered picnic tables along the outer loop, but no grills. The inner loop has an above ground composite decking walkway in the area of the park that's supposed to be the flooded area, it would've been nice had the planners continued the composite deck all the way across the opening and connected it to the other side of the inner path. This middle area is supposed to be the flooded area of the park, but at this point the only areas subject to flooding are the main walking paths."

"Nice park for walking. It contains about 1.7 miles of trails made of shells. There were public restrooms but the water fountains didn't work. Also, the park is not marked from the main road but it's down Oasis Woods Dr., off Agualinda, next to Ida Baker H.S."
