"The boat ramp has great access to the Gulf of Mexico. There was plenty of parking. The boat launch was good. The current was swift and alot of debris but was still usable. The fee was 10 dollars for the day. I would recommend this boat launch for boaters and pwcs."

"Ramp runs amazing smooth for loading and unloading. Rangers were right on speeding boat passing by while unloading as it created a lot of wake. Great boat ramp! Great access to where we needed to go."

"This probably is the hardest boat ramp to load a boat. The river pushes you so hard that at any other boat ramp, I would never come in so hot, but if you don't, the stern goes sideways. I would prefer using the north ramps vs. the south ramps, but that is not how you get to load. Also, if you are dropping the trailer retriever off without docking, I would suggest offloading them by approaching from the power plant side, again so the current doesn't push you and you have more control. Remember, the person with the trailer has the right to load. If you need to tie up, use the loading docks to wait for your trailer, not the ramp, which this boat ramp has."

"Great place to launch the boat and a quick ride to paradise: Anclote Island or 3 Rooker island. Heaven on earth. Typically busy on weekends and during July & August but a great place to enjoy and go out on the boat. Plenty of parking and 7 boat ramps. Evening coffees offer spectacular views"

"First time here. Went on a weekday. Locals said weekends there are a nightmare but thankfully there wasn’t many there when we went. Super spacious, plenty of room for multiple people to get in and out. Parking was easy, paying was easy, getting in and out was easy. LOTS of seaweed or sea grass though. Had to unclog the ski once or twice. No issues at all. Will definitely be back!"
