"Worst customer service. Ted is extremely rude when questioned. I got a phone call stating I was two months behind so I called to ask. I was told by someone else that it was a mistake. I called again because I got the same call. I was then informed that I'm not behind at all but my insurance expired and needed to pay $200+ to renew it. I asked why I never received a letter or phone call to let me know I needed to renew at that time. I was then told "Uh well it's not rocket science. It's not our job to baby sit." And when I tried to respond, he just got loud and started talking over me. He's extremely rude. I highly advise AGAINST going here."
"I called Ted at Gator Auto after completing multiple online quotes and finding the rates that some of the biggest companies offered were gouging me after I was an at fault drive in a small accident last year. He gave me a great rate, and was extremely informative and helpful. I will definitely come back in 6 months when due for a renewal!"
"I have been insured through a third party insurance company via gator auto insurance for three years now and i have to tell you i ALWAYS get the lowest rate (keeping in mind i always purchase the state minimum insurance). On top of that my account manager Ted is always happy to answer my questions and he never leaves me hanging. If have any problems he always clarifies. I now live in clearwater florida, and i continue to go to the gator in holiday just because of how kind and helpful Ted has always been to me. Getting insurance for the first time at 17 can be really confusing so if you have a teen driver who you need to insure GO TO TED he explains everything and gets you the lowest rate for sure!"
