"I was thankful that they upgraded me for free to a really nice Cadillac suv when they were out of economy cars. I did not like getting a bill over 1 week later for $7 worth of highway tolls with a $12 “convenience fee” tacked on. I don’t mind paying for tolls of course, but I don’t think the convenience fee should be almost twice as much as the tolls themselves."
"Just arrived to pick up a vehicle for 7 people and found out they do not have it. I prepaid for it last night and everything. I was told that budget just didn't send the cars from the airport so I'm out of luck. Scrambling to save our plans for the day. The worst part is they never expressed any regret or apologies. "So many bad reviews. I understand this location may be confusing and unlike other locations, this one is in a mall. But Katie was absolutely a joy to work with when I dropped off. I think the expectation is that this is a full service location when actually it is more of a hub location. I had nothing but amazing service."
"This was a little hard to find… it’s at Entrance F of the Edison Mall, between what used to be JC Penney’s & Dillard’s. Yes the door from the outside into the storefront, don’t enter the mall. The employee who checked out my vehicle and checked me back in was all business, which is fine, but his non-stop unsmiling and very unpleasant demeanor both times was off-putting. That being said, this is a corporate store, and the vehicles are clean inside and out. That’s not always the case with at least one of the franchised locations from which I rented in the area. Also, though the rates were slightly lower here, their fees are higher. Check the all-inclusive price before you decide where to book."
