"A great extra experience on our Gulf Shores trip! I have 6 kids so we did 3 back-to-back rides to accommodate everyone. "For my birthday, we crossed off one of my bucket-list items I've had since I was a little kid... Fly in a helicopter! We left OWA from flyBAMA, flew down to Gulf Shores, down the beach where we saw sharks, manta rays, hammerhead sharks, tons of fish and "The Lady in the Lake". We flew between 400 and 500ft off the land/water at 80 to 100mph. The trip was about 45 miles and roughly 30 minutes. The pilot was very cool and pointed out lots of cool stuff to us. All the staff there were very helpful, informative and very cool people. They had the front doors off the helicopter, so that was pretty interesting (don't put your hand or phone out of the cockpit). My wife and daughter were in the back seat with the doors on, but still could see lots. They have quite a few flight plans and costs. Definitely recommend."
