"After seeing a physical property of theirs in passing, I reached out in hopes of possibly going to view that property. Overall, my goal was to find an apartment for rent within my price range. In speaking with Mary Ann (my assigned realtor) and Evelyn in person, I was encouraged that the property I was interested in may still be available but they would have to "look into some things". I was also told by them both that day that multiple alternate properties were available. They collected a $50 application and realtor fee while we spoke about multiple potential spaces they knew of that fit exactly what I was looking for. The next day, Mary Ann had shown me two properties that did not in the slightest fit the description we had discussed. I re-iterated to her again what I was looking for and also that my budget was fairly flexible. She also told me that day that the space I was initially interested in was, all of a sudden, no longer available at all. A week later, Mary Ann then showed me one other apartment but completely in the dark (after 5pm with no working lights in the space). Even though she offered to show me photos, this was just very very strange. Not only did she arrive 45 mins late but she also had not let me know in advance if I was comfortable visiting a space in that manner. Considering I had already paid a fee, I continued to follow up with her over the next couple of weeks and was basically repeatedly told there were no other available properties. Bait and switch. Not okay to mislead customers with false information. I haven't heard from them since and don’t plan on reaching out. I just want others to be aware of my experience."
