"I would not recommend this laundry service due to consistently poor customer service, arbitrary rules, and a terrible tailor service. 1. Customer Service: The customer service has been extremely poor, with staff being unhelpful and unaccommodating. 2. Arbitrary Rules: Initially, the service promised one bag per week with no mention of a weight limit. Afterward, they arbitrarily introduced a 30 lbs weight limit and charged us an extra $20 for exceeding it. When we ensured our bag was 28 lbs the following week, they still claimed it was 36 lbs and charged the extra fee again. Other reviewers have experienced this same issue, indicating a pattern of misleading practices. 3. Subscription Issues: The service is subscription-based, costing $99 for one person (one bag) and $179 for two people (two bags). Despite this, they made it unnecessarily difficult when we requested to reduce our subscription to one bag per week, knowing that more than one person lived in our apartment. They finally agreed to a $99 subscription but continued to charge extra fees unjustly. 4. Unfair Charges: Even after modifying our subscription, we were charged the extra $20 for three out of the four weeks due to the arbitrary 30 lbs limit, leading to us paying more than before. 5. Inconsistent Pickup Times: Pickup times were frequently shifted. We were instructed not to request pickups before 11:00 AM, but often, they attempted to pick up before this time. On one occasion, I called at 10:40 AM and was denied service. 6. Missed Weeks and Extra Charges: We missed more than three weeks of service in a month, yet the company refused to honor an extra bag the following week, despite initially stating that we were entitled to four bags per month. That week, they still charged us the extra $20. 7. Terrible Tailor Service: The tailor service was horrible. I used it once and never again. The person ruined my new coat, and the “fix” was extremely expensive. In summary, while the service might seem cost-effective initially, hidden fees, poor service quality, and an unreliable tailor service make it far from a good deal. I strongly advise against using this service."

"I do not recommend this location to anyone. It resides in an alley way. When your clothes are ready they put them in a plastic bag in a makeshift tent/tarp outside and then stuff them in a black canvas bag that’s been sitting outside for who know how long. No regard for rodents, dust, construction elements - etc. Owner didn’t care at all."

"I’ve had such a positive experience with Capri Laundry. Good service and excellent tailoring, all for a great monthly price. I am moving to a new neighborhood, but very sad to say goodbye to Capri!"

"Do not use. They wash way too hot and dry way too hot. Literally ruined a lot of my clothes. Ruined a pair of jeans I had not even worn before and did they did not come clean about it until I hounded them for weeks. And a lot of my sweaters lost its softness from the extremely hot water they use. I do not recommend."

"DO NOT USE. Absolutely awful experience using Capri Laundry for several reasons. Waited over 3 months to receive a refund on service. When they finally sent the refund they go "Can we drop this now?" as if they weren't at fault. They have stained multiple articles of our clothing. They are extremely rude, told us our laundry can't be over 30 lbs or we will be charged extra when it was no where close to that weight. Final straw was they didn't return my towels and claim they did (never got them back), extremely careless and irresponsible customer service. Can't emphasize enough how disappointed I am in their service. Will be looking elsewhere."
