Babylon Village Court 153 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702

"Went here yesterday to resolve an issue that suspended my license ... and explained to the clerk I was just there in February at which time I asked HAS EVERYTHING BEEN ADDRESSED? .. the clerk PAT said “yes”. My license was suspended (recently, for the second time same issue) for tickets that were FOUR YEARS OLD. The clerk and an tall women with short dark hair Were unnecessarily nasty and rude, actually screaming when I was just trying to find out why my license was suspended again causing my car insurance to cancel . I have paid over $1000 to this court , they refuse to take debit card (even though they advertise they do with a 2.99% fee) cash only. When I asked why these tickets were not brought to my attention when I asked they said “WE DIDNT KNOW” .. well who would know? Something isn’t right and I’ll have to go to town of Babylon to figure out what’s going on in that town hall. Babylon in general is very “ticket happy” and I’m very glad I have since moved. The lady with the dark hair said I could “go get more money, and we’ll lift the suspension “ I asked if they were open until 5, it was 4:15, she says “yes but we’re not waiting for you to close out “ excuse me ? Who talks to ANYONE that way. I certainly didn’t ask for you to “wait for me” I asked what time you were open until.. This lady could see I was a nurse , a parent , a HUMAN. Have some respect for people, I could not imagine going to that job everyday. I’d probably be really miserable too."
