Welcome to Bethel A.M.E. Church, a vibrant and welcoming place of worship located at 50 Cooper Street, Babylon, New York. Established in 1907, our church is a proud member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, a global denomination founded in 1787 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At Bethel A.M.E., we are dedicated to providing a nurturing Christian environment where individuals and families can worship the triune God, receive training in the Holy Bible, and be encouraged in their faith journey.

Led by Reverend Suzanne Moshett, a passionate servant of God with a rich background in ministry and education, our church is committed to equipping believers for works of service, following the charge of Ephesians 4:12. Reverend Moshett, originally from Georgetown, Guyana, brings her international mission experience and deep commitment to guiding our congregation to live up to their full potential in Christ.

In addition to our Sunday Worship Services, we offer Wednesday Prayer and Bible Study meetings to foster spiritual growth and development. Our Sunday Church School welcomes all ages at 9:30 am, and children can enjoy a dedicated Children's Hour in our Fellowship Hall during the Worship Service. Throughout the year, we hold special celebratory services on Sunday afternoons, as announced, and warmly invite the public to join us.

Bethel A.M.E. Church is here for you in both good times and challenging times, offering prayer and support for those in crisis or in need of social services. We are committed to being a source of hope and assistance, with referrals to organizations equipped to provide aid.
