"My wife has been a member for more than 5 years. The church is a welcome home for young Hispanics recently arrived from their home country. The living prophet is an indigenous Guatemalan who wears a skirt and jacket, and is revered as the voice of God. There is no discussion or argument allowed -- you have to have "faith." There is also no accountability as to where the collected funds are spent, and no community involvement outside the church. I never met any members who were doctors, lawyers or other professionals and was never aware of any encouragement for members to pursue personal goals. The church has all the hallmarks of a cult. Very friendly "brothers and sisters," but be careful."
