"Nice masjid, but when I was in the bathroom upstairs where the women pray, someone was jiggling the door knob, turns out it was a man. He went in after I did. I’m so happy alhamdulillāh that I locked the door. There really needs to be a sign that says “WOMEN ONLY” either directly on the upstairs bathroom door or at the bottom of the stairs to go up. I know for a fact there is a men’s bathroom and wudhu area, because I was flabbergasted and asked my husband about it because I was doubtful that there’d be one tiny restroom and wudhu area for men and women… located on the 2nd floor where woman pray? Totally improbable. You can see in the photos the area for men in the basement. What if I didn’t put on my niqaab before leaving the bathroom, since I was in the women’s section and shouldn’t need niqaab? What if I’d left the door unlocked since there’s two stalls and wudhu stations in case other women came? What if I was making wudhu and had my jilbab pulled halfway off and some man came in?? I normally pray at home, but it was Maghreb and I was out with my husband. I usually feel safe in a masjid that has a segregated women’s section, but I wish men didn’t feel free to go into this masjid’s women section. Beautiful recitation from the imam, clean nice masjid. Just PLEASE label the women’s bathroom to be women only, maybe the brother was new and somehow didn’t know where the men’s bathroom and wudhu is supposed to be. Jazakallahumma khayr Edit as reply to masjid response: Jazakallah khayr for your response I very much appreciate it. It was today right after the Maghreb; the man was very polite and kind, maybe men do use that bathroom and I just was not aware, maybe not many women pray here and I understand that, men must have room to pray. I don’t want to cause difficulties, I just want to make sure that if it is a women’s area it is just for women (except for Friday prayer when there is no room for women, which is okay). Jazakallahumma khayr for the response and for the beautiful masjid and salah, I look forward to visit again in shaa Allāh. السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته"

"Ma Sha Allah, it is a great mosque which is small but awesome. They had classes for boys and girls in which they do Nazirah, Quranic Stories, and Mosque Rules. The teachers are great and have a very good way of teaching. I would highly recommend this place if you are around the area."
