"I walked here on a whim from Industry City and realized that while I'll never go back to that (it's a cookie-cutter fake hipster mall), this park is unique. You get amazing views of the southern tip of Manhattan and New York Harbor, soccer fields under the shadow of an old warehouse, walking trails, and secluded corners at the water's edge. All totally unpretentious and uncrowded. This park has been in development since 2012 and still isn't done. That shows with some rough edges: un-removed crumbling concrete and fenced off areas. It's probably due to the incompetence of the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), which owns the project. That's hardly a surprise since in NYC, public infrastructure doesn't get built without cost overruns and ineptitude. It's fine. I'd love a finished park, but that will never happen. I'll be back to enjoy the current version."

"Beautiful park! There is a trail that leads in the woods where you can sit down on a hill by the water that’s very calming and nice. There’s a baseball and soccer field available there as well as a bike trail and places to sit."

"This is my favorite park in South Brooklyn! Super low-key, not crowded, lots of green space and rolling hills, beautiful ocean side views. Great park to walk your dog, they also have two soccer field areas and a nice walkway by the water. Lovely park for a family picnic. No bbq is allowed but you can bring sandwiches and precooked foods with no problem. They have a clean bathroom for men and women with a changing table I believe. And water fountain available as well. It’s super peaceful and safe for women."

"A lovely place to just take in the view. Plenty of people by the water, and there's a field to play soccer if that's your preference. There's a decent bike path going through the park as well."
