"This park is beautiful and brings together a sense of nature in the middle of a bustling city. Come here if you are interested in joining events for the summer open to kids and adults. Bathrooms are available from 8am to 4pm and there is alot of information about the parks history and the wildlife/nature that surrounds it. Come here if you want to know more about native tree species that are grown on the park and also some interesting trees like the Gingko tree which I had never seen before until I came here. Will come again and reccomend to my friends."
"We enjoyed walking around the park on Saturday afternoon. The farmers' market had delicious fruits, vegetables, and other farm fresh items. The Nature Center had restrooms, exhibits of snakes, bugs, and historical information on the Revolutionary War. It was warm, but the shade from the majestic trees made it pleasant to walk around."
"I absolutelyove Fort Green Park in Brooklyn. I usually attend for festivals open events music festivals ect. Some great ones to attend during the summer is 1. Soul Summit 2. The Layout 3. Afropunk On days when a festival is not happening you have tons of space to enjoy a gathering for a picnic with friends or companions. Its very child friendly with facilities inside the park as well as public bathrooms. The adjacent area host TONS of amazing restaurants both casual wat jn and take away as well as local spirt houses. Truly an amazing part of brooklyn!"
"The Fort Greene Farmers Market is the best in Brooklyn, without question. We’ve lived in the area for over 6 years now; and the park is an oasis. Community oriented, incredibly managed and cared for by countless volunteers who put their heart and soul into it. It’s just amazing!"
