Top notch service after experiencing a poor encounter across the street at Cadman Plaza post office. I forget the name of the lady and gentleman who took care of me, I want to shout them out. My passport arrived today! Thanks for recommending I get it shipped overnight even with expedited. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

"I came here to renew my passport. It was in room 189 window 1 from 9:30-11 and 2-3 weekdays. Security officers provided clear directions to the room and papers of the room were posted on walls. In 13 minutes I finished submitting and paying for everything. The fee for facility ($35) only accepts cash and money order, no personal check. Although there is only one person there, there are very few customers in line at a Friday afternoon (1-3 customers in line). Main point is that it was a great and fast experience for a government office."

"Stellar experience from the security guards at the entrance to dealing with the self help section to filing (getting and index number) for my divorce. Everyone was super helpful, I felt dumb asking questions I did but they really took the time to walk me through everything."

"There is no reason why in 2024 the county clerk in a city like NYC cannot accept credit card. It’s not acceptable. And the most confusing thing is, while both the kings county and New York county clerks only accept cash, the city clerk (marriage licenses, etc) only accepts credit card- Really not right. Everyone should accept everything- cash, credit, debit it shouldn’t matter- it’s 2024, wake up! Very not okay."

"I went there on September 2022, and i was able to filled my uncontested divorce that same day, all by myself. Everyone was nice. They helped me a lot. They have a notary in there that will notarize your documents for free. The staff from 122c were very patient and helpful and also the people on the 189 room were very very nice. And the girl on the 10 floor was also nice and explained everything to me. Sometimes people want to come to this office and want the staff to do everything for them but thats not how it work. If you come in and show them that you are willing to get things done all by yourself with the correct guidance they will help you all steps of the way. The lady that notarized my paper was very patient, i had to ask her the same question like 3 time because i wasn’t understanding and she would answer me the 3 times in a nice way."
