"I Attend The Open Door Church As A Girl. My Family Lived In Those Projects & That's The Church We Attended As As A Family. Ms Stamford was Our Leader In Girl Scouts, So Was Ms Fletcher I Learned So Much From This Church As A Child Growing Into A Teenager Into A Young Lady. Thank You To The Most High & The Open Door Church."

"I grew up in this Church. I worked here during Summer Youth Corp. I Ushered in this Church. I sang in the Youth Choir in this Church. I was apart of the Youth Dept under Momma Brickhouse. I was Married in this Church. My son, DJ was Christened in this Church. His Godfather, Mr. John Thomas was Great. He had a Heart of Gold. There was always something going on at Church... Something to do. I Miss the Adult Mentors(Mr. Howard, The Powlis' and so many others) whom Blessed The Open Door with their presence, their Love for the Young people, their Guidance and their Direction. I was Truly Blessed to be apart of The Open Door Family. PEACE☆"
