Reviews
"The people at this post office are lazy, condescending, and completely devoid of intelligence. They seem to enjoy being rude and wasting people’s time. For example, there will be one person at customer service windows while 3-4 employees just lean up against the cabinets behind the windows and talk to each other, doesn’t matter if there’s one person or ten people in line."
"The people who work at this post office are highly incompetent and refuse to do their job. They rather argue with the patrons then actually try to assist with the issue at hand. When asked to look for a package They are adamant that it's not their job. Although there is no line in the office and there's only a large line for packages, the person sitting at the desk will absolutely refuse to assist the package handler. When the package handler cannot find your package possibly due to the overwhelming amount of packages they'll tell you that it's not there and to submit a complaint with the person in the front. According to my tracking, my package was in the office. I have a friend who is the supervisor with the Manhattan office who told me the package was scanned as delivered from inside The office although it wasn't sent with The courier. Through his system he could see that the package was still in this facility. The front desk person was condescending and stated I see everything you did on my computer so I know what you did already and if I said it's not here, the item is here. The level of ghetto in this office is overwhelming. The sad part is it's the employees. It appears this office only hires the most miserable of people who hate to do customer service and hate their jobs and are only in it for a check. The incompetence level is at an all-time high. Fortunately for me, I have a great relationship with the courier in the area and he went out of his way to go into this office search for my package and get it for me proving my point that these people are incompetent, lazy, rude, ghetto and don't deserve their jobs. If there's any other post office you can work with, go for it. Update: one of the employees name was Tanesha Blackwood"
"After waiting a month for a passport appointment the day of, the passport agent did not go in and no accommodation was made. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable as we had some documents with expiration dates and had proof of travel dates. They should just close this place."
"Ive lived in brooklyn a while and the only thing actually annoying in this neighborhood is the post office…. They are never stocked, awful to talk to, very disorganized and very clearly don’t care and that’s okay with management. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 4 years now… next neighborhood I live, I’ll know now that the post office location matters because: 1. They never know where packages are, if they are suppose to be scanned they often don’t get scanned, get lost, and don’t leave notices, I also for some time had an issue with small packages not being delivered at all (I will say that has been resolved after a literal year of complaining) 2. Don’t bother calling, they don’t pick up unless you call consumer affairs first. So no, you will not know if the package is there before you leave to try to pick it up 3. They don’t leave notices so you have to watch your tracking numbers like a hawk. 4. Customer Service sucks at the window - we get it, its the post office and you dont like it, I’m just here for my box that: u didn’t leave a notice for… it could easy be an in and out situation if they were more organized. 5. There is a guy in and out of the door by the PO boxes is specific for searching the back for pick ups, the only (ok) system they’ve come up with. Its just him, and it takes some time to find your items. He’s super reasonable, and the only good part to this post office. Make him manager!! The worst post office- do not expect anything from them."
