Welcome to the Potsdam Neighborhood Center, a vital community hub located at 2 Park Street, Potsdam, New York. As part of the St. Lawrence County C.D.P., our center is one of six neighborhood centers dedicated to supporting low-income families throughout the county. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency by providing essential services and resources.

At the Potsdam Neighborhood Center, we offer a variety of services to help meet the needs of our community. Our center is staffed by a dedicated director and supported by a team of passionate community volunteers. We provide direct assistance and referrals to other agencies as needed, ensuring that families have access to the support they require. Our services include access to a food pantry, emergency aid for food, fuel, utilities, or shelter, and programs focused on family development, budgeting, education, and job obtainment.

The Potsdam Neighborhood Center is proud to participate in the Food$en$e program, a monthly food-buying co-op provided by the Food Bank of Central New York. This program is open to everyone, with no qualifications or subscriptions required, and offers a monthly box of 12-15 staple grocery items at a discounted price.

Our operations are funded by St. Lawrence County, United Way, Northern NY Community Foundation, and generous contributions from individuals, businesses, and faith-based groups. We welcome and appreciate donations of food, personal items, and monetary contributions to help us continue our work.
