"banks are in the goverenment's category of essential services, like grocery stores, gas stations,... How is it they offer only ATM service? What is up with that? Cuomo opened phase 1 in Suffolk county two days ago, yet bank remains closed. I mean really how special are banks that they make up their own rules as they go, don't share risk with the rest of essential services? This hits hardest at poor folk, at elderly, at those without access to electronic banking,... This is just not right. Unfortunately posting without giving at least one star is not possible."

"Worst bank ever. They fire everyone, close every location and now everytime the line is out the door here. The employees are rude and just say 'you can either wait, or use the ATM you walked right past or your phone to do what you need to so don't complain about the line when you have obvious choices' yes, that was a real response I got from one of the female workers. Beyond rude, I feel like my money is not safe being held by such snotty people. Avoid at all costs. Plus, they are going to close this branch in a few months anyway, so then our money will be held hostage. Not right and not fair."

"Although I have an account here, and they have a notary public on staff, they refuse to notarize my documents because it wasn’t anything to do with a capital one loan. I honestly don’t think this is even legal in NY, a notary is supposed to be a free service, and I do have an account there! Not for much longer after my interaction with them today. I plan on moving all 4 of my capital one accounts out to another bank that actually believes in customer service. Horrible bank."

"If you have a disability, stay far away as this bank is not friendly to those with a disability. I am in a wheelchair and cannot walk, so what did this bank do to accommodate me? They took away their drive up and made it virtually impossible to get inside with my wheelchair. They have no parking for those with a disability and they have no way for you to open the door, I had to wait until someone was going in to open it for me. Likewise, they have a tiny, virtually nonexistent ramp to get my wheelchair up. When I complain about this, I am told ‘ we have so many ways for you to bank that is convenient, use the ATM, smartphone or computer.’ Well first, no this is not convenient, having a drive up is convenient like you always had in the past. Second, I have no smartphone and do not do online baking. You are holding my money hostage by using my disability against me. I will leave this bank for BNB, a local bank that actually cares about my disability and will give me access to my money in convenient ways, such as at a drive up rather then telling me what I 'should' do to get MY money."

"Very disappointed in this new branch, no drive-up teller first and foremost. No more small hometown bank where you know the employees and the employees know the customers. It's cold and impersonal. Very disappointed in Capital One in general. Closed so many local, convenient branches, put so many long-time employees out of jobs."
