"I had a very unpleasant experience with the woman who answered the phone multiple times from 9am-11:30am on June 1, 2023 Fort Lee. It was the traffic violations extension. This woman is very aggressive, condescending, and rude. She tried to make me think that sending a disposition of a paid ticket to the DMV wasn’t her job and that she was just doing me a favor by doing it. I am certain it is the responsibility of the court to automatically submit receipts of any ticket payments to the DMV so our licenses don’t get suspended. NJ DMV actually said that Fort Lee court failed to submit the receipt of payment. This lady would not let me speak whenever I tried to explain things. She would talk over me and interrupt me. She accused me of not wanting to do the work myself simply because I asked her if she didn’t have access to a fax number herself which would make things less painful than they were as getting in touch with the dmv is really hard. I feel like this person abuses her power in the office and I would highly recommend Fort Lee authorities to review the way she works and how she handles situations with the people who call. Citizens of Fort Lee deserve respect and good service. Not liars and bullies answering the phone who try to make you feel that they’re doing you a favor by doing their job."

"Fort Lee became a cash grabber with all these parking meters until 2 am. On top, there weren't signs with parking rules around where we parked as well in the machine. The rules are different throughout the town which is ok except not enough signs around [near by] to check it. Everyone got ticket the first time and the second time we had to walk around searching for the signs as some of the restaurants' staff there pretended not to know the "parking rules. Clearly is a trap if you're not from the area. There aren't handicap spots in parking areas by the businesses entrances, specially after they built that unnecessary parking building [by Oaktree Mall]. So, good luck anyone in a wheelchair or clutches or any other with any other disability. Paying few bucks for the parking is not a problem, but not having enough signs around where you have to waste your time looking for is annoying, specially at night as you don't want to be walking around in the dark. Other neighboring towns parking usually is free after something 6-9pm and Sundays are free."
