"Decent public area playground areas for children, tennis and basketball spaces , benches as well as chess tables There are a lot of trees for shade, but the pollen is also something to worry about. Overall a great place for a family park day"

"Bathroom close too early and is very inconevience for kids and parents they should close bathroom at 7pm specially in summer im here now is 5pm and bathroom is closed"

"This park has been improved many times over the past 20 years. It is very underutilized by the community. I appreciate the workout equipment they have installed. They should create a walking path for walkers. It is definitely in a remote section of the Bronx near the Hutchinson River Parkway so I'd keep a very close eye on my children, otherwise it is a relatively safe park and neighborhood."

"I've been coming to this park for years to workout. Whether its early morning or late at night. During the spring and summer, I love seeing the community come out to play handball. Reminds me of old school NYC where members of the community with gather together and play handball. Its very active during the summer. However, my main thing is working out when I come here and there's two workout sets. The one near the handball set has been there for years and the new workout Kompani set has been there for maybe less than 5 years more or less. Anyway, both are great and have pretty much everything you need for a good calisthenics workout. I tend to run into a lot of cool individuals and its always a chill atmosphere. Once in a while though, you will see some odd characters roam around but otherwise, its chill the vast majority of the time. Awesome place to workout in a great, quiet, residential area."

"Nice park with good playground equipment, small ball field, basketball and handball court. Went early on a weekday morning and it was mostly empty save for a few people walking their dogs and a homeless guy talking to himself. While the park itself is nice, I don't normally come here as a local. The location lends itself to you being an easy mugging target because of its proximity to the Hutchinson River parkway. It is also in a fairly secluded spot so unless there are lots of people around during busier times, there will also be no help/witnesses. Speaking from experience as it happened to a family member here a few years ago."
