Welcome to East Coast Greenway, a scenic park located at Bronx and Pelham Parkway in The Bronx, New York. As part of a remarkable network, the East Coast Greenway connects 15 states and 450 cities and towns over 3,000 miles, stretching from Maine to Florida. Our mission is to foster a safe and enjoyable walking and biking route through the country’s most populated corridor.
At East Coast Greenway, we are proud to be part of a larger vision that promotes active mobility and environmental sustainability. We are currently celebrating the achievements of a record-setting 2023, detailed in our latest annual report, showcasing the milestones reached by the East Coast Greenway Alliance.
We are also excited to announce the inaugural Roger Herz Greenway and Active Mobility Award, honoring the legacy of longtime New York City bicycle advocate Roger Herz. Although the application period for 2024 has closed, we look forward to recognizing an individual who has significantly impacted greenways and active mobility in New York City.
