"Christ Church of Riverdale is a welcoming, diverse and progressive home for anybody who needs one. Pastor Andrew Butler is brilliant, his sermons are inspiring, using the bible as a tool for social justice and spiritual truth. He's a true spiritual leader who welcomed me and helped me during a difficult time when I stopped at the church and he didn't even know me. The music director Carl Marucci is an incredibly talented musician and the choir is divine. Carl creates concerts and musical moments that could be paired with any Lincoln center event. He hires brass and other orchestra instruments to enhance the musical experience of special events. The recent Festival of Carols brought so many people that many of my friends couldn't get in because it was so crowded. People were standing up to clap and cheer after every song. The choir has some super talented opera singers that give you shivers. The congregation is diverse, friendly, devoted, open and after every service we enjoy a coffee hour with the most delicious snacks provided by different members of the congregation. I recommend anybody with or without faith to stop by and experience this beautiful and blissful church."
