"Train departure announcements are unreliable. It will say the train will leave in 7 minutes on the sign, and when you are walking towards the train, it will suddenly depart when the sign still says 5 minutes till departure. Staffs are very unfriendly, and decline MTA's own courtesy pass and gaslit me for fraud (for $3 dollars? lol). Circulation wise, the station platforms are very narrow, and there are not enough exits. Escalators are of course not an option, and there is only one very dirty elevator."

"The Station is pretty dirty but it does have active and alert police. There are a lot of homeless people and crazy people but the police usually take care of them. It is very dirty but it’s the New York City subway system so it’s expected."

"The last stop for 2 train,"

"The first time you visit the subway station at flatbush junction, you might say its a neat little stop.  There's a big Target next to it, and many other places to shop: Walgreens, Dunkin, Popeyes, McDonald's, Burger King, and Dallas bbq.  The stop is a short walk to Bklyn College. Those who use the station everyday see the problems with it. There's two tracks: one for a 2 train and the other for a 5.    You can only get from one train to the other by walking south, turning the bend, then walking north.  Of course it would make sense for the last stop to have a platform between both tracks, so if one goes out of service passengers could easily go to the other. The current design would make more sense if the line was extended south towards Emmons and the ocean.  A new terminus could have the type of design more practical for the end of the line.  The MTA has no plans on an extension; such a project won't get started in my lifetime. There is a small elevator servicing the station.  Most of the time it works. A lot of busses connect to the station at the junction.  The 44 local and 44-sbs run on Nostrand.  The 41 runs south to kings plaza and north to downtown bklyn along flatbush.  The b11, b103, and q35 also connect here. Far too often the train is jam-packed. On weekends when they do construction things are even worse. The MTA does things like: close service on the 2, and tell people to use the q, but they run no extra trains on the q line. Another factor on the 2 train is that it is a magnet for the homeless. When traveling to this station late at night you will run into cops, homeless outreach, and other services for the homeless. The station may meet the bare minimum requirements to be called serviceable."
