We are actively seeking volunteers to join our family of firefighters. No previous experience is needed—just a strong desire to serve and a commitment to helping others. As a volunteer, you play a crucial role in the life and safety of our community. Stop by the firehouse any Monday night at 7 PM to learn more and meet our team.
A Legacy of Service
For over a century, the West Nyack Fire Department has been 100% staffed by volunteers, ensuring the safety of West Nyack residents. Our commitment to community service was highlighted when we hosted the Rockland County Volunteer Firefighters Association annual parade on September 18th, 2021, a testament to our community spirit and dedication.
