Welcome to North Utica Senior Citizens, a vibrant community hub located at 50 Riverside Drive, Utica, New York. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors, children, and teens in the Greater Utica Area through a wide array of recreational, educational, cultural, social, and wellness activities. Our center is a place where everyone can find something to enjoy and participate in, fostering connections and community spirit.
At North Utica Senior Citizens, we offer diverse programs including educational classes, fine arts, health and wellness activities, health screenings, and various recreational clubs and groups. Whether you’re interested in chair yoga, Zumba, ceramics, card making, crafts, painting, jewelry making, or line dancing, our classes provide opportunities for creativity and fitness. We also offer defensive driving and self-defense training for those looking to enhance their skills.
For those who enjoy games and social gatherings, join us for Pinochle, Pitch, Mah-jong, knitting and quilting sessions, or our Supper Club. Our calendar is filled with exciting events such as the Fall Craft Fair, day trips, Monster Mash Halloween, Candy Cane Hunt & Horse-drawn Sleigh Ride, music nights, informational seminars, game nights, and luncheons.
We take pride in providing a safe and welcoming environment where arts, education, recreation, and celebration come together. By participating in our activities, community members can build meaningful connections and learn from each other’s experiences, ultimately strengthening our community. "This is a Beautiful Facility for the Seniors to go and they have a Gym with Excercise Machines that are Brand New!!! They Serve a Nice Lunch and they offer many activities. They also hold Many Political Guest Speakers. So they do an awful lot here at the North Utica Senior Center and it's a Fairly New Building and let me add Very Clean!!!!"
