"So so interesting!! I learned so much from all the exhibits and the movie which even had water spraying on you!! It was a great experience. The views of the river were phenomenal, too. We saw families there with young children who were having a good time, too... so it's geared to all ages....fun for everyone!!"

"All I can say is WOW!!!!! While the visitor center was closed, I was still able to look around. Go down the service road to the bottom of the gorge. Walk to the fishing area. The churning waters are truly impressive. Walk around the corner of the fishing catwalk and check out the huge fish right below. The way the hydroelectric generation works is fascinating."

"Great views and nice place to relax and fish too. Met some people fishing off the platforms and the waters edge down at the bottom of the stairs near the parking lot. Plenty of stairs around here so take your time and hold onto your little ones as well as cell phones while taking pictures on the platforms, certain areas the grates are wide enough for your phone to fall through. There is also an elevator to take you back and forth if you can't make the stairs."

"The New York State Power Authority visitor site was very interesting. They've tried to make it a lot of fun for kids and adults the same. There is no fee to enter the exhibits. It's not very far from Niagara Falls so it's easy visit from there. When you get outside it's a nice view of the river."
