After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology from Long Island University in 1997 and gaining extensive experience in the healthcare industry, Mr. Herz pursued his passion for law, obtaining his Juris Doctor from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2006.

As a dedicated attorney, Mr. Herz is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He specializes in personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, municipal defense, and estate planning. His expertise and commitment have led to successful representations, including several favorable outcomes before the New York State Appellate Division, Second Department.

Since joining Jakubowski, Robertson, Maffei, Goldsmith & Tartaglia, LLP (JRMGT) in 2009, Mr. Herz has become an integral part of the firm, achieving partnership status in 2020. He is an active member of the New York and Suffolk County Bar Associations and is committed to serving clients throughout Suffolk County and New York City, including the communities of Saint James, Stony Brook, Smithtown, and beyond.

Mr. Herz is not only a dedicated legal professional but also a committed family man and community member. Residing in East Islip with his wife and two children, he actively participates in the Saint Patrick Parish in Bay Shore.
